El Código Konami (Konami Code, también conocido como Konami Command o Contra Code) es un truco que puede ser usado en muchos videojuegos de Konami, que normalmente activa alguna opción secreta. El código fue usado por primera vez en el lanzamiento de Gradius para la NES, en 1986. En la partida, el jugador pulsa la siguiente secuencia de botones en el control:

Ahora, lo interesante de este código (que ya tiene 20 años) es que aun se utiliza en juegos que ni siquiera lo habrías pensado, como por ejemplo... Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater
Al interrogar a los soldados, uno de ellos te da el código:
Arriba, Arriba, Abajo, Abajo, Izq. Derecha, Izq. Derecha
Muchos intentamos usarlo, pero como no hacia nada simplemente pensamos que era un guiño a el famoso código, pero...

En el escenario cuando tienes que pelear contra "The End", que es un francotirador con un camuflaje casi perfecto, debes apretar esta secuencia viendo el mapa:
arriba, arriba, abajo, abajo, izquierda, derecha, izquierda, derecha, cuadrado y triángulo.
Si está en tu zona aparecerá en el mapa, si no es así búscalo en otro lugar.
Lo que parecía un mito, queda comprobado como algo real, el código Konami aun vive, y puede que lo volvamos a ver muy pronto...
